Ready Meals, Chilled Foods, and Beyond

PET lidding film is where we do most of our work. It seals reliably to APET, CPET, and rPET trays, peels cleanly without shredding or leaving residue on the rim, and maintains integrity through production, chilled distribution, and retail display. For ovenable and microwave safe applications, PET handles the journey from chiller to oven without the consumer needing to repackage.

For products like hummus, dips, yogurt, prepared salads, and deli items, presentation matters as much as protection. Your customers make purchasing decisions in seconds, and they’re not picking up a tray they can’t see into. Anti-fog treatments keep your products visible in chilled cabinets - crisp and appetising rather than hidden behind condensation. For meat, poultry, and seafood applications where shelf life is critical, we supply high barrier lidding films with EVOH layers for MAP packaging. These maintain the modified atmosphere that extends shelf life, keeping products fresher for longer throughout the supply chain.

Recyclability claims are everywhere, but there’s a difference between technically recyclable and actually recycled. PET lidding film on a PET tray creates a mono-material pack that qualifies for OPRL recycling - collected at kerbside, processed through existing infrastructure, turned into new materials. The kind of recyclable your customers can act on without a research project.

For customers pushing further, we offer food grade films with 30% post-consumer recycled content. We can also help with gauge optimisation - finding the minimum material weight that still delivers reliable seals. Sometimes using less material is the most meaningful sustainability improvement you can make.
