About J-Folded Film

Offset Fold for Bag Production

J-folded film has an offset fold, creating a lip for side weld/seal bag production. Lip size is specified to suit your equipment and bag dimensions.

From One Converter to Another

We’re bag converters ourselves. We run J-folded film on our own lines daily, so we understand what matters - accurate folds, consistent material, and reliable supply.

How J-Folding Works

Unlike centre-folded film where the fold is central, J-folding creates an offset with a lip. For example, 700mm flat film could be centre-folded to 350/350mm, or J-folded to 375/325mm giving a 50mm lip.

Lip dimensions are specified to suit your equipment and bag requirements. We can J-fold most materials we work with - BOPP, PE, PET, polyolefin, and various laminates.

Made to Order

All J-folded film is converted to your specification. MOQs from 100kg make trial runs and smaller batches practical without tying up cash in stock.
